My mother was recently a patient of Amedisys and I can honestly say we had an experience beyond expectations. My family has never dealt with hospice care before, but the staff at Amedisys were incredibly helpful in helping us understand all aspects of care – from nutrition to medications. The nurses and doctors kept us informed with timely information and provided support through every step in my mom’s journey. We could tell they truly cared about her comfort and dignity throughout her hospice stay, which is something that you don’t find everywhere! Highly recommend Amedisys for its professionalism, outstanding communication skills, as well as its compassionate approach towards end-of-life care.

As a doctor who referred many patients to the service provider Amedisys for end-of-life care over several years, I must say their level of expertise is unparalleled! Not only have the healthcare professionals been kind and compassionate toward those under their care; additionally, they also go above and beyond in providing quality medical services by frequently checking in on patients’ progress as well as answering any questions or concerns friends/family may have regarding treatments or procedures utilized during palliative management plans.. Furthermore, it goes without saying that excellent communication between patient families/caregivers & nursing staff ensures everyone remains knowledgeable & up to date on treatment plans – thus resulting smoother transitions & better overall patient outcomes! In short: highly recommended!
